Jorge L. Guerra Jr. has real estate in his blood. As one of Latin Builders Association's
youngest executive directors, Guerra is known for his strong background in real
estate sales, marketing and construction. While most 22 year olds were looking for a
full-time job out of college, Guerra put his talents to practice. He was the youngest
state-certified general contractor to receive his license in Florida.
His drive and determination have propelled him to open Real Estate Sales Force in August 2005. As a licensed broker Guerra has successfully sold over Half a billion dollars in South Florida.
Guerra has rubbed shoulders with established developers for over eight years in the industry, forming unbreakable bonds and reliable contacts. He began working for the family drywall business, but quickly expanded his real estate horizons as the sales and marketing director at Savannah Builders. In 2000, Guerra became the salesperson for the Doral area at Century Homebuilders, one of the largest developers in the country. At Century he won the firm's quarterly sales awards and was crowned "King of Real Estate" in 2002 for establishing a one-day sales record of 550 homes sold.
"I love the positive reactions I get from clients after their development is sold out in record timing without a sales office," Guerra said. "This speaks volumes of my company, but mostly it sets apart the development."
To date, Guerra has won several prestigious awards; Builders Association of South Florida (BASF) “Best Broker of the Year” Platinum Award in 2006, 2007 and again in 2008 named a finalist as Best Broker of the Year in South Florida Business Journal’s 2006 Up & Comers and most recently accepted Latin Builder’s Association (LBA) “Real Estate Company of the Year” 2006 on behalf of his company Real Estate Sales Force.
He is sure RESF will be a driving force in the growing real estate market of South Florida. Guerra has surrounded himself with experienced professionals who are hungry to master the real estate business.
Wanting to give back to his community, Guerra is affiliated with organizations such as; Young Leaders Making a Difference, Next in Line and Habitat for Humanity. Although he is proud of his service in South Florida, Guerra's "proudest" moment was visiting the White House, where he was invited to speak to President George W. Bush about small business initiatives.
